Aref Tops Reformist Electoral List

Reformists will try to field candidates for all the 30 parliamentary seats of Tehran constituency in the Feb. 26 Majlis elections, an official with the Reformist Policymaking Council told IRNA on Saturday. Elias Hazrati said former vice president, Mohammad Reza Aref, is the leading reformist candidate in the capital. Hazrati noted that the list, which will be released in the coming days, includes all prominent pro-reform figures whose qualifications have been approved by the Guardians Council.
