India Welcomes Increased Coop.

India says it is keen to develop political and economic cooperation with Iran. In a meeting with Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Ebrahim Rahimpour in New Delhi, Sushma Swaraj, India's minister of external affairs, expressed her country's interest in expanding wide-ranging ties with Iran, IRNA reported on Thursday. "New Delhi and Tehran can increase collaboration in the economic, commercial and energy sectors," she said. Rahimpour said Iran gives priority to India due to its efforts to retain bilateral trade during the sanctions years.
