A senior Islamic Revolution Guards Corps commander was martyred in Syria while providing military advice to Syrian forces engaged in the fight against foreign-backed terrorists. Brigadier General Mohsen Qajarian, commander of the Imam Reza (PBUH) Armored Brigade 1 of IRGC, was martyred in an attack by the self-styled Islamic State terrorists while on duty, Fars News Agency reported on Thursday. Iran says its military advisors are present in friendly regional states to provide them with military recommendations.
