The deputy foreign minister for Asia and Pacific affairs arrived in Islamabad on Monday to hold meetings with high-ranking Pakistani officials to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and recent border incidents, IRNA reported. Ebrahim Rahimpour was scheduled to meet with Sartaj Aziz, national security advisor to Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and Tariq Fatemi, special assistant to the prime minister on foreign affairs.
