Lebanon Offered Military Support

Ambassador in Beirut Mohammad Fathali said Iran will not hesitate to provide military support to the Lebanese Army to help it in the fight against terrorism and extremism. In a Saturday meeting in Beirut with Lebanon's Defense Minister Samir Moqbel, Fathali said Iran is more than ever willing to assist Lebanon's armed forces in their ongoing counter-terror campaign, Fars News Agency reported. "Terrorism is spawned by the Zionist regime, while Lebanon and Iran play an important role in fighting it," the envoy added.
