Mortar Hits Minister's Damascus Hotel

A mortar shell on Thursday struck a hotel in the Syrian capital Damascus where Iranian Health Minister Seyyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi was staying, but no injuries were reported. The minister was not at the Dama Rose Hotel when the mortar, fired by terrorists, hit the roof of the building, Tasnim News Agency reported. Heading a delegation, Hashemi was in a meeting with Syrian officials elsewhere in Damascus at the time of the attack.
