Chinese President to Visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to travel to Tehran on January 23 at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation. Experts believe the visit, a first by Xi, could usher in a new era in Tehran-Beijing relations, IRNA reported on Wednesday. In May 2014, Rouhani visited China to attend the Fourth Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia Summit in Shanghai.
