Mideast Chaos, Conflicts Benefit Israel

A senior diplomat said the main beneficiary of the escalation of chaos and conflicts in the Middle East is the Zionist regime.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari made the statement in a Saturday meeting with Palestinian Ambassador in Tehran Salah al-Zawawi, which was held to discuss latest developments concerning the Palestinian conflict and regional issues, IRNA reported.
Ansari said the issue of Palestine is of prime significance to the Muslim world, so Muslims should use their utmost capacities to help liberate Palestine.
To prepare the ground, Ansari said, "Warring sides in war-torn countries should engage in serious dialogue to help settle disputes."
Zawawi pointed to deplorable conditions in the region, saying that fomenting sectarian strife among the people is a plot against Palestinians and benefits the Zionist enemy.
"Zionists aim to strike a blow to strong points of the Muslim world in its resistance against the regime and that is why Israel tries to aggravate the crises in Syria, Iraq, Libya and Lebanon," the Palestinian envoy said.
Zawawi called for initiating talks among major Muslim countries to find a solution for ending the sufferings of Muslims.
For nearly 70 years, Zionists have waged a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing against millions of defenseless Palestinians, notably since 1967 when they occupied a large part of Palestine.
