Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei visited the family of Assyrian martyr Robert Lazar, who lost his life in the 1980-88 Iraq-imposed war, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Jesus (PBUH), according to the official website of the Leader. "The Christian minority–both Armenian and Assyrian-emerged honorably from the [1978] revolution and the [Iraq-imposed] war as loyal, wise, insightful and brave Iranians," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
