Joint Naval Drill With Oman

Iranian and Omani naval forces held a joint drill near the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday and conducted maritime rescue and relief operations. According to the Iranian Navy, 11 Iranian military vessels and 1,200 servicemen took part in the drill. Oman employed two vessels in the exercise, Tasnim News Agency reported. Lavan logistic and combat warship, Damavand destroyer and naval choppers were used by Iran in the maneuvers.
