Joint Statement

The office of First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri and the office of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi issued a joint statement on Thursday following Abadi's visit to Iran, in which they expressed pleasure at growing relations between Tehran and Baghdad and said they are ready to expand bilateral ties in all areas. The statement also highlighted the importance of efforts to establish stability in the region and described terrorism as a threat to international security.
