President Hassan Rouhani has been placed among eight candidates for the person of the year by Time magazine. Other persons shortlisted for the same title include Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Black Lives Matter activists who campaign against violence toward black people, IRNA reported.
