Aid Delivered to Gaza Aid Delivered to Gaza

A consignment of Iranian humanitarian aid has been delivered to authorities in the Gaza Strip to be distributed between the people of the enclave who are suffering from the severe consequences of recent Israeli attacks, the Fars news agency reported on Monday.

The consignment containing 75 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, medicine, medical equipment, blankets, and tents, had been dispatched to Cairo by air to be transported to the Rafah crossing point overland.

The Egyptian government had long delayed issuing the required permits to allow Iran to send aid into Gaza.
