First Deputy Foreign Minister Morteza Sarmadi says Tehran and Bangkok are determined to upgrade bilateral ties, enumerating economy, culture, and tourism as potential areas for expansion of relations. Sarmadi made the remarks in a meeting with outgoing Thailand's Ambassador to Iran Adisorndej Sukhasvasti on Tuesday, ISNA reported. He also thanked the envoy for making efforts to help boost bilateral ties during his tenure.
