Former vice president, Mohammad Reza Aref, said on Thursday reformists intend to have an “effective” presence in the campaign for the Feb. 26, 2016, Majlis elections with the aim of winning a majority in parliament, IRNA reported. Aref, who is also the chairman of the Reformists’ Policymaking Council for Elections, also said reformists are not a “rival” of the establishment and are part of the Islamic Republic system.
