Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani condemned recent terrorist attacks by the so-called Islamic State in France, urging global determination in the fight against terrorism.

In a Saturday message to President of National Assembly of France Claude Bartolone, Larijani described the deadly terror attacks in Paris on Friday as “inhuman”.

“Unfortunately, the world has been witnessing such inhuman crimes and incidents over the past few years, which have resulted in nothing but the killing of defenseless people and the creation of chaos and insecurity,” the top lawmaker was quoted as saying by Press TV.

Larijani hoped that the determination of the international community to fight terrorism would help establish peace and security across the world.

About 130 people were killed and roughly 350 injured after assailants struck at least six different venues in and around the French capital late on Friday.

In a statement on Saturday, the IS terrorist group claimed carrying out the deadly attacks.
