Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has been invited by his Iraqi counterpart, Salim al-Jabouri, in a phone conversation on Wednesday to attend the 11th session of the PUIC conference in Baghdad in early 2016. The Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member states is composed of the parliaments of OIC member states, IRNA reported. Jabouri also thanked Larijani for supporting Iraq's bid to host the event.
