A ceremony was held at the Foreign Ministry on Sunday to induct the new spokesperson for the ministry, Hossein Jaber Ansari, and bid farewell to his predecessor Marzieh Afkham, who will serve as ambassador to Malaysia, ISNA reported. Afkham is the first woman to take the office of ambassador after the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Jaber Ansari had previously served as director general of the Foreign Ministry's Department for Middle East and North Africa.
