Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad arrived in Tehran on Tuesday to meet Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to discuss international efforts aimed at defusing the four-year crisis plaguing the Arab country and a broader campaign against terrorists operating in the Middle East, ISNA reported.
