Saudis' aggressive and uncontrolled behavior is the consequence of their extreme measures and wrong decisions with respect to regional crises, especially the conflicts in Syria and Yemen, a senior lawmaker says.

"Derogatory remarks by some Saudi diplomats indicate that their animosity toward Iran comes before [their commitments under] diplomatic protocols," Ali Larijani, the Majlis speaker, asserted, reiterating that it has been a long time that Saudis have made blatant attempts to bring down the Syrian government, IRNA reported.

Pointing to the desperate efforts by Saudis to destroy the Syrians' hope through supporting terrorist cells and slaughtering innocent children, Larijani said, "Such a cheap foreign policy will never bear fruit even if it harms Syria's economy temporarily."

  Shame and Disgrace

Highlighting the "brutal" airstrikes and indiscriminate bombings of residential areas in Yemen for over seven months killing over 6000 people, of whom 5000 were defenseless children and women, he stated, "They have been able to accomplish nothing so far but the atrocities have brought their kingdom absolute shame and disgrace."

Almost a quarter of a million people, including nearly 12,000 children, have been killed in Syria's conflict since it broke out in March 2011, according to Al Jazeera.

Referring to the Sept. 24 crush tragedy near Mecca during the Hajj pilgrimage which claimed the lives of over 450 Iranians, the lawmaker noted, "Saudis have been so dishonest with respect to this sorrowful event, and in spite of the fact that international news agencies estimate the death toll to be around 7500, they claim no more than 750 were killed."

  Political Chaos

Criticizing Saudi officials for mismanaging the holy ritual, he questioned their irrational approach in burying bodies in mass graves with the aim of concealing the scale and scope of the disaster, asserting that political chaos has engulfed the Saudi regime and power struggle among princes has heightened.

According to Larijani, the Saudi foreign minister's "barefaced" lies about Iran have been greeted with mocking laughter by world powers as they are completely familiar with the policies of the puppet state.

Claiming that Iran acts like a "colonizing state" in Syria, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir has recently accused Iran of being behind rebels who overran large parts of Yemen.

  Emerging Intifada

Underscoring the barbaric massacre of oppressed Palestinians in the occupied territories amid an escalation of clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces, Larijani warned that Israelis are taking advantage of critical conditions in Islamic states.

"The rising tensions have led many to speculate that a third Intifada, an uprising, against the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, is taking shape."
