Former US president Jimmy Carter on Tuesday threw his unequivocal support behind the July 14 nuclear deal between Iran and major powers, including the United States, the AP reported.  Carter also said he had conveyed his support for the international accord to Secretary of State John Kerry during a meeting earlier in the day.
