Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi said on Tuesday the fact that the country is secure in a volatile region is the outcome of unity among the people. "The security prevailing in Iran is people-based, and we should try to maintain security through preserving unity," the intelligence chief said in a meeting of Shia and Sunni scholars in Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, IRNA reported.
