A new long-range digital radar system became operational during a large-scale military drill by the Armed Forces. The domestically manufactured radar system, named the Fat’h 14 (Conquer 14), has a range of 600 kilometers and can detect small airborne targets at a high altitude, according to Press TV. High agility and swift connection to command and control centers are among the notable features of the semiconductor radar. It is resistant to electronic warfare and is regarded as the best radar for missile systems. The Armed Forces, backed by the Khatam al-Anbia Air Defense Base, on Monday started a massive two-day military drill in west and northwest of the country to boost military preparedness. Army, air force and air defense units took part in the maneuvers.
