A senior principlist lawmaker says his fellow politicians are trying to develop a mechanism to forge unity among principlist groups. Consultations are being held on various proposed mechanisms to achieve unity, Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel, chairman of the Majlis Principlists Faction, told the Mehr news agency on Saturday. He also expressed hope that the principlists would reach a consensus on their approach to the next parliamentary elections in 2016.
