The French prime minister highlighted the need for Iran’s engagement in efforts to find a political solution to the Syria crisis.
“It is been the unchanged policy of Paris on Syria that a political solution involving opposition groups and the Syrian government, not including [President] Bashar al-Assad, should be worked out, and all parties such as neighboring countries, Iran and Russia should be involved in talks [on Syria],” Manuel Valls told Al Arabiya news channel, IRNA reported on Sunday.
