Fischer Meets Envoy

In a meeting in Vienna on Wednesday, the new Iranian ambassador, Ebadollah Mollaei, submitted his credentials to Austrian President Heinz Fischer, IRNA reported on Thursday.  Fischer pointed to "historical" relations between the two countries and his recent "successful" visit to Tehran and said Vienna is ready for expansion of mutual ties.  He also said Iran can play a key role in helping address regional "crises and challenges."
