Basra Attack Denied

An official at the Iranian Consulate in Basra denied reports that followers of an Iraqi cleric had attacked and destroyed some parts of the mission's building, Fars News Agency reported. Mohammad Esmaeili said, "The consulate has warm and good relations with local people and the people visit the consulate every day to obtain visas."
