VP Upbeat on JCPOA Vote

Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Majid Ansari is hopeful that lawmakers will vote “overwhelmingly” to allow the government to implement the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (the official title of the July 14 nuclear deal between Iran and major powers).
In an interview with IRNA on Wednesday, Ansari said, “Members of Parliament will [likely] vote overwhelmingly on Sunday to back the JCPOA to help the government solve problems facing the people.”
The parliamentarians are slated to start next Sunday the debate on a bill that sets out conditions for implementation by the government of the nuclear accord.
