Standard-Bearer of Oppression

A senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday described the United States as the “standard-bearer of oppression,” ruling out any talks with Washington on non-nuclear issues, IRNA reported.  “In various parts of the world, especially in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Afghanistan and Pakistan, the United States is regarded as the standard-bearer of oppression against the innocent people of Muslim countries, and every day more solid evidence emerges corroborating the idea that no talks should be held with this oppressor as long as it sticks to its current policies.”
