Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida plans to visit Iran, Qatar, and the United States next week, Japanese government sources said Monday, according to Japan Bullet.  Kishida is expected to arrive in Iran on Oct. 12 to discuss a bilateral investment treaty with his counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. They will likely discuss setting up a joint committee to deal with energy and infrastructure development and other economic issues, the sources said. Kishida will also call for proper implementation of the historic July 14 nuclear deal between Iran and six major powers -- the US, Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia. Under the accord, sanctions will be lifted in return for temporary limits on Iran’s nuclear program.
