Minister's Dismissal Unlikely

Principlist lawmaker Esmaeil Jalili told ISNA on Saturday the parliamentarians who oppose the impeachment of Minister of Roads and Urban Development Abbas Akhoundi are "in the majority", so his dismissal is unlikely. The impeachment session of the minister is expected in the coming days. Backers of the motion believe Akhoundi has not fulfilled the pledges he made when he sought to obtain a vote of confidence.
