FM Meets Arab League Chief

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Elaraby in New York on Friday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Fars News Agency reported.
Zarif said after the July 14 nuclear deal with the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany), Iran’s first priority is to increase collaboration with regional countries, including Arab states.
He added that Iran is ready to cooperate with regional countries to help resolve Middle East problems, especially the conflicts in Syria and Yemen.
