The director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) said on Friday that the world should have interaction with Iran because it is a key regional power. Ali Akbar Salehi made the remarks on the sidelines of an international conference on science and technology parks in Shiraz, IRNA reported. “Iran is the golden key to the Middle East and is the number one power in the region; and the world has no option but to have interaction with Iran,” he commented. Elsewhere, he said the prospect for nuclear talks between Iran and the major powers is “bright”, adding the talks will reach a “good” conclusion.
