Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held talks with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz in Vienna on Wednesday. The two officials discussed bilateral relations and a range of international issues, including the latest developments in the talks between Iran and the major powers on the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program, IRNA reported. Zarif also held a telephone conversation with Italian Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini on Wednesday, in which the two officials discussed the process of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany). Federica Mogherini has recently been designated as the European Union foreign policy chief.
