Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said Iran is a "sincere partner and ally" for Damascus, ISNA reported on Sunday citing his interview with RT Arabic. On the lingering Syria conflict, the senior diplomat said the "top priority" for the Syrian government is to fight terrorism because the political crisis gripping the Arab country cannot be fully addressed as along as terrorism goes unchecked.
