President Hassan Rouhani issued a message on Monday congratulating Evo Morales on his re-election as Bolivia’s president. Rouhani said the victory is the result of public confidence in the government and successful efforts of the revolutionary people of Bolivia, the Mehr news agency reported. He also expressed hope that friendly relations between Tehran and La Paz would be strengthened to serve the interests of the two countries. Morales declared a landslide re-election victory on Sunday, hailing it as a triumph for his socialist reforms, Reuters reported.
