Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called for increased military preparedness against any form of threat.
"Improve your preparedness constantly to be able to confront a wide range of potential threats," the Leader said in a meeting with commanders and personnel of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base in Tehran on Tuesday, Fars New Agency reported.
He said defense issues should be addressed by careful planning to prevent any potential harm from the enemy.
"Weak points and tactics of the enemy should be identified and effective plans and solutions should be devised to deal with them."
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined the need for more integration between the military industry and scientific communities to help "diversify" defensive capabilities to counter all types of threat.
