A lawmaker says overseeing activities at the Parchin military site, about 30 km southeast of Tehran, is outside the jurisdiction of the UN nuclear agency.
“In view of the fact that no nuclear-related activities are conducted at Parchin, any movement or construction at this facility has nothing to do with the International Atomic Energy Agency,” Abbas Ali Mansouri Arani, a member of the presiding board of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission told ICANA on Friday.
The IAEA said in a report on Thursday that Iran appears to have built an extension to part of its Parchin complex since May, according to Reuters.
