Reformists have maintained a "consensus" to back President Hassan Rouhani, Hojatoleslam Mohsen Rohami, head of the election committee of reformists, told IRNA on Friday. "We try to assist government officials and preserve our unity and sympathy with them rather than be a liability to the government," he said, adding, "No rift has developed between the government and reformists because our support for the government is strategic."
