Backing JCPOA

About one hundred former ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions issued a statement announcing their support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, as the recent nuclear agreement with major powers is formally known, ISNA reported on Saturday.  The former diplomats said, "The Foreign Ministry's handling of [the nuclear talks] and the effective and competent leadership of [Foreign Minister] Mohammad Javad Zarif ushered in a new chapter in Iran's diplomacy, which deserves appreciation."
