The Defense Ministry issued a statement on Thursday on the occasion of National Defense Industry Day (August 22) stressing that Iran will go ahead with plans to improve its defense capabilities, Fars News Agency reported. "Defense achievements in the field of missiles convey the message that the country's indigenous capabilities and advantages are undeniable and that… the drive to boost defense capacities to effectively defend the revolution and the Islamic country will not be suspended or put on hold."
