Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei issued a decree on Saturday granting amnesty to some prisoners and reducing the sentences of others. Earlier, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani had written a letter to the Leader in which he made a proposal to grant clemency to 1256 convicts on grand occasions of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Ghadeer.
