An Interior Ministry official said efforts should be made to convince the people that the government has done everything possible to hold "satisfactory" and "sound" elections. Deputy Interior Minister for Political Affairs Mohammad Hossein Moqimi made the remark in Tehran on Sunday in a meeting with officials of provincial election offices set up for the Feb. 26, 2016 Majlis and Assembly of Experts polls, IRNA reported.
