A verdict for former Tehran prosecutor and head of the Social Security Organization on unspecified charges has been issued, whose details will be made public next week, head of a criminal court in Tehran Mohsen Eftekhari told Fars News Agency on Sunday. Saeed Mortazavi is charged with involvement in two high-profile cases, namely the death of three prisoners at the Kahrizak detention center in 2009 unlawfully held there in connection with the unrest which broke out after the presidential election the same year and irregularities at the SSO under him.
