Ambassador in Baghdad Hassan Danaeifar met Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari to discuss the impact of the recent nuclear accord between Iran and major powers on “the security and stability of Iraq and the development of the region,” Fars News Agency reported on Saturday.
The two officials also exchanged views on the ways to strengthen bilateral relations, the campaign against the so-called Islamic State militant group and the latest regional and international developments.
Jaafari also said he will not be able to attend two conferences to be hosted by Iran over the next two weeks on regional issues due to his “busy schedule”.
