Iranian and Russian naval forces held a joint exercise in the Caspian Sea during the three-day visit of a Russian fleet to the northern port city of Bandar-e Anzali ending Tuesday, Rear Admiral Afshin Rezaei Haddad, commander of the navy's northern fleet, told Fars News Agency on Wednesday. "The joint naval drill was held involving three Iranian warships, including the destroyer Damavand, and two Russian warships," he explained.
