Serbia FM Meets Leader’s Advisor

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic and Advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ali Akbar Velayati met in Tehran on Tuesday to explore ways of expanding Tehran-Belgrade ties and exchange views about the latest developments in the Middle East, ISNA reported.
Velayati said, “Iran and Serbia are able to expand their relations and take joint measures in many areas by doing planning, regular exchange of visits and activating their joint cooperation commission.”
The top Serbian diplomat expressed pleasure about his visit to Tehran, describing his meetings with Iranian officials as “constructive” and “positive”.
He said Belgrade is interested in tapping into the available potential to strengthen ties with Tehran.
