Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei went hiking on Friday in mountains in northern Tehran for the first time after undergoing surgery in early September. Ayatollah Khamenei was hospitalized at one of Tehran’s public hospitals and underwent a prostate operation last month. He said Friday's excursion was arranged on the recommendation of his physicians who said physical exercise could be beneficial to the Leader’s recovery process.
