A member of the Expediency Council said on Sunday the nuclear agreement with major powers is neither good nor bad, Fars News Agency reported.
Mohammad Hossein Saffar Harandi said, “What was achieved by the (agreement) was neither a good thing nor a bad thing and only met our minimum demands.”
“This is not an outright victory and as (Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad) Zarif said, it is not something that deserves rejoicing, but in view of (western countries’ initial) demands, it was acceptable.”
He also said what caused major powers to sit at the negotiating table with Iran was the country’s “influence and growing power in the region.”
