An advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution told the press on Wednesday the provisions of the recent UN Security Council resolution endorsing the nuclear deal with major powers which place constraints on Iran’s defense capabilities are “invalid”, Fars News Agency reported.
“The resolution approved by the Security Council regarding Iran’s defense capabilities, especially missiles, is invalid in view of Iran,” Ali Akbar Velayati said.
“The resolution has been approved under the influence of the supremacist and expansionist western countries to undermine Iran’s defense power with the aim of imposing their demands.”
